Rochechouart - Nördlinger Ries - Gardnos - Sudbury - MISC

The event took place 200 to 210 million years ago. In France a huge meteorite fell in the center of the Limousin (a crystalline mountain) creating a crater of 20 km diameter with diversified silicated breccias.
