If you want to make a trip to Morocco
to hunt for fossils or meteorites, the best place to go is the south. Between
Erfoud, Alnif in the south east and Zagora, M'Hamid more in the center south,
all the little roads are good places to meet people who can be very interesting
(don't hesitate to stop on the little shop selling fossils along the roads)!
Most of the nomads have funny stories about meteorites and sometime some of them
have one or know somebody who might have one...One very exciting thing to do is
to make a trip in the desert for meteorites hunting with nomads. M'Hamid (100km
south of Zagora) is the opening door into the sand desert and....meteorites!
